Thinking About Getting Back Together? Is it able to work? Well that depends actually on how much you both need it and what led to the breakup in the 1st place. You are much more likely to succeed if you've got the backing of your chums and family.
Regularly we break up when we are young, as we are both juvenile and just do not know what we have ; till we lose it.
Other times we will be able to kill off a relationship, as we switch with our jobs or our families. Regularly the break up has zilch to do with the people concerned just the timing or distance isn't right. But often there were specfic reasons why we split up and if these reasons still exist, then you must work out why you need to get together again.
Absence can make the heart grow fonder but be advised that memories get deformed and you might be recalling events that did not quite occur that way. if you're thinking about getting back together after a while apart, there has to be an emotional and physical attraction between the 2 of you.
But unless it is accompanied or followed over time by an emotional connection, the physical stuff just is not enough to maintain a relationship. If you miss out any of these 3 essential ingredients your odds of spending your twilight years together are reduce. My opinion is that Hollywood films would have you suspect a great love relies on lust and physical attraction. You can be simply fooled into assuming the person just has to brush you off your feet and you may live contentedly forever.
Unfortunately, real life isn't like that and you'll have certain trials to face as a couple. A pair who are very committed to one another, on each level, is far more certain to survive the issues real life throws at them.
If this is the case, you want to be certain that you are getting back together for the right reasons and not because your children would like you to. Just as a couple should never stay with each other only for the sake of their kids, nor should they get romantically concerned again because of this. Just take things slowly and who knows, maybe a wedding or remarriage will be over the horizon.
